War Gone Wrong

In the middle of nowhere with no sound; you could hear birds chirping, squirrels
bickering, and even hear the wind whistling in your ear. You can only see the dark clouds, burnt
trees, and cracks all around. No one around except for two gods. You could only imagine what
could have destroyed this part of the land. Poseidon and Hades, the two brothers fighting to be
god of the sea. Poseidon as a kid has been dreaming of be the most powerful god and Hades is a
kid that just messes around and doesnt care about anything, but Poseidon is trying his hardest to
impress his parents. By the time they had become eighteen it was time for the decision that either
Zeus, Hades, or Poseidon to become the most powerful god. The parents had come down to the
decision to pick Zeus as the most powerful god. Poseidon was raging with anger. Then it hit,
Poseidon has created his first creation. A loud disturbing sound, the earth was shaking and rocks
rumbling, and the ground was beginning to crack open while lava was coming out of the cracks.
The earthquake was so huge that it was a 10.2. While, the parents Rhea and Cronus trying to
calm Poseidon down; Hades was trying to take all in and thinking another type of god he could
be.
So, then Poseidon asked, Since Zeus is god of the sky, could I be god of the sea?
No, I want to be god of the sea I dont want to be stuck down in the underworld, Hades yelled.
Rhea says, Calm down boys we can settle this in a different way.

Rhea goes and calls a goddess named Cesto that is a god of equalism to settle this fairly.
When Cesto got the message, she immediately got back to them and called them to see which
one is more capable of being the god of the sea. When they walked in to discuss the problem
Cesto let them talk on there own to listen to each other's opinion and see what they say. She
listened quietly while they talked non stop.
As Poseidon asked asked Rhea how can we do this fairly when it has something to do
with Hades?
As Hades responded we don't even have to settle this in decisively way we all know that I am
more responsible compared to Poseidon.
When Cesto heard that, she stopped the conversation and interrupted. the only person with the
decision here is me and I will be able to decide on who will be the god of the sea.
Not only were they upset that Rhea took it to Cesto to do the decision but they knew she
would do it fairly and things most likely wouldnt go as they expected. They both felt very
scared but excited to know what Cesto decision would be for the chosen one of the god of the
sea. Rhea was hoping that Cesto would make a good decision and hoped she didn't end up
choosing the wrong person. As Hades and Poseidon looked at each other with deep hate you
could tell they couldnt stand each other. Not only did they get mad because Zeus didnt have
this same problem as them but because they didn't like the fact that Zeus didn't have to go
through this. Poseidon and Hades were really angry because not only did Zeus get his own
choice and he got a spot for sure but they were mad because they didn't have two different
choices to chose from like choosing the god of the sea or god of the underworld. They only
hoped for the best as the decision came. They all waited for the final decision that Cesto would

have. As Cesto came out to tell the boys the news, she had a terrible look on her face that was
bad news.
She says, Im so sorry to tell you this, but in order for us to settle this is to prove your
loyalty to me.
Poseidon responds, Fine.
Whatever, Hades says in a careless way.
The next day, a sunny afternoon deep in the forest under the tallest tree, Poseidon was
thinking an idea to persuade Cesto to chose him. While, Hades got an idea in an instant like a
light bulb popped out of his head. Hades idea was to create an army to protect all of the creatures
in the ocean.Back down into the deep of the forest Poseidon now has thought of a convincing
way and his thought was that if he could share or give others love, kindness, and other goodies.
Both Hades and Poseidon went to Cesto and told her separately what they can do to show their
loyalty. Days later, Cesto has her news; she called Rhea, Cronus, Poseidon, and Hades. They all
come down as fast as lightning.
Cesto nervously says, I have found our god of the sea. Poseidon is shivering so much
that half of the earth was shaking.
Cesto continues, I must congratulate Poseidon as god of the sea.
Hades goes up their to tell everyone how thankful he is to Cesto, but then he realizes that
Poseidon was the one that really won. Hades is humiliated and raging with anger. He was so
upset that he had to go down to the underworld alone. Hades had to get vengeance on Poseidon.
So, when Hades went down to the underworld, Poseidon was too excited of being god of the sea
that he didnt realize Hades even left. Down in the underworld Hades was creating an army of
rotting flesh creatures called zombies. Poseidon didnt realize that Hades is planning an attack on

him. The ground started shaking for about thirty seconds and then it was silent as an owl. Hands
of the zombies bursted out of the ground and started crawling to get out. Thousands turned into
millions of zombies. When Poseidon heard rucess from miles away, he knew something was
wrong. Poseidon created flying fish that actually flew like a bird to see what was going on. The
flying fish came back with a message that Hades has created an army to destroy Poseidon.
Poseidon couldnt do this on his own, he needed help from Cesto. Cesto came immediately. The
army of zombies was getting closer by the minute. Poseidon and Cesto didnt know what to do,
but to settle this in fighting. By the time the zombies came, Poseidon created his own army of
cyclops that were bigger and stronger.
Hades comes and says, I will make it easy on you if you will give your spot to me.
I will never give my spot to someone so ignorant, Poseidon responds.
Then we shall fight to our deaths, Hades says in confidence. The cyclops and the zombies
attack each other and Hades and Poseidon waiting till its their turn.
After the cyclops and zombies killed each other one by one and equal each other out, it
was Hades and Poseidons turn. Hades attacked first charging at Poseidon. Cesto was thinking of
an idea to save Poseidon and she has one. Cesto goes and gives Poseidon his very own trident.
Poseidon grabs it and stabs Hades in the chest with it. Hades starts choking up his own blood and
Poseidon froze in fear of losing his brother. Poseidon lays with his brother and says a few words
to him and says, Im sorry for what I have done to you I didnt mean to be so cruel I hope you
can forgive me. It was to late, for Hades was gone. The tear of Poseidon dripped onto Hades
heart and his chest was glowing and Hades was risen up into the sky and laid back down again.
Hades woke up and his first words were, I forgive you.

After that day and so on the two gods shares each others laughs and joy, but because they are
brothers they will always have each others backs.
