Microsoft Word is an application, which is part of the Microsoft Office software. Microsoft Word is a
word processing application used in creating word documents. Being familiar with this program will
make you more efficient in writing papers and similar works in a college environment.
For this assignment, you will have to do the following:
1. Write a 500-word essay about your college plans.
a. Where would you like to go to school?
i. Community college
ii. Community College then transfer to a University
iii. Start and finish at a 4-year University
iv. Vocational School
v. Out of state/ In-state
b. What would you possibly like to major in? WHY?
c. Why do you want to get a college education?
2. Make sure you have an introduction.
3. This will be a five- paragraph essay. You must increase indent at the beginning of each
paragraph.
4. CHECK YOUR SPELLING AND GRAMMAR. I encourage you to have someone proofread
your writing.
5. Also, complete the following tasks below to receive full credit.

Only use Arial, Times New Roman, or Tahoma font style

Save file as (Last name initial, First Name- College plans WORD)

Type a 500-word essay (5 paragraphs) about your college plans

Create a Cover Page with a Title, Your Name, Instructors Name, and Date

Bold your title, Italicize your name, Underline your instructors name

Left Justify (align left) your entire Essay and Center your cover page

Include your last name and page # in the footer and right justify (align right)

Save to your flash drive or google drive
