PART C: TO BE COMPLETED BY HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

The Panel of Evaluators are appointed by the Head of Department (HOD). The members must be selected
from related field of the proposed research work.
a. Masters Programme:
The RPD panel of evaluators shall consist of a minimum of three (3) panel members consisting of
chairman (Dean/ HOD/ Senior Academic Staff with PhD qualification with Associate Professor status
and above), the main supervisor and one (1) from within Department and must be from related field of
research. Those with Masters Degree must at least have 3 years of research experience.
b. PhD Programme:
The RPD panel of Examiners shall consist of a minimum of four (4) panel members consisting of
chairman (Dean/ HOD/ Senior Academic Staff with PhD qualification with Associate Professor status
and above), the main supervisor, one (1) Internal Examiner from within the Department and one (1)
External Examiner for other department/ MOR / and must be from related field of research with
minimum PhD qualification.

Note:
The RPD will be conducted within 2 weeks of receipt of submission for RPD. Department shall organise and
coordinate the RPD evaluation session. Result of the RPD evaluation is to be submitted immediately to CGS
Office upon completion of the RPD session.
