Weber State University is involved with student dancers, actors, designers, technicians and musicians. Admired faculty strive to provide extensive knowledge and experience to WSU students. Those involved in the program are provided with the atmosphere and motivation to succeed. Students have the opportunity to train and learn in Northern Utahs premiere venue, the Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts. What: The Tempest William Shakespeare compels audiences with a daring and magical legend brought to life. Weary survivors wash ashore on an enchanted island after shipwrecking at sea during a storm. On the island, the survivors encounter a powerful sorcerer, his half-human slave and spirits. Shakespeares worldrenowned epic tale of friendship, acceptance, repentance and forgiveness is an inspiring story for audiences of all ages. Director Jennifer A. Kokai will bring to life Shakespeares The Tempest full of fantasy, magic and love. When: April 15-16, 19-23 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m. (MST) Where: Val A.
