Progress Note

Date: 03/31/2014
Patient Name: Sandra Andrew
S: The patient reports that she was out quite a bit this weekend and walking around, stating
that she did just become very fatigued by the end of her day. She did have some soreness and
swelling, which she reported icing after and stating otherwise, she is doing about the same
with the shoulder as well as the knee.
O: Therapeutic exercise per exercise flow sheet.
A: The patient is showing improvement in the shoulder and motion still is very tight mostly
into abduction, which pain limits the amount of movement she can get but still is showing
gained with this. We did begin our more active strengthening today as well as the shoulder
and gave her a Thera-Band to work with the home exercise program also. She does state that
she notes difference with her knee that she does have a shower step at home and was able to
go down more normally than she had been and is noticing small differences. PT Bays Gibson
did work with stretching with her today and some flexion and was here also did toe
mobilizations and a contract/relax with her with the stretching so just has most of the pain in
the medial knee with stretching, slowly coming along. No further complaints during the
treatment session.
P: Continue plan of care.
