Context
Spanish has been named as the official second language of Trinidad and Tobago. Also, Trinidad
is surrounded by many Spanish speaking countries. Students need to be able to know simple
vocabulary to build foundation for when they need to communicate with relatives or travel to a
foreign country.
Set Induction
Teacher will engage students in a discussion about the different parts of their body and articles of
clothing associated with them. The class will then sing Head, shoulders, knees and feet in
English.
