Helen Webb-Prosser has been tutoring and mentoring our 4 year-old son for about a year
now. We are a foster family in the process of adoption and our boy came with significant delays
and attention deficits at the age of two, which he now has an IEP from CDS to follow which
Helen has been implementing.
Helen has carefully, adeptly, and creatively encouraged his retention of knowledge as well
as utilizing the incorporation of movement breaks and rewarding retention with desired learning
games which develop his physical and mental skills.
When our now 19 year-old son was struggling in school he always did best when a teacher
took the time to find out who he was and what he responded best to. Helen has the ability to find
out how a child learns and teach to those needs. Her kind and gentle personality resonates with
children and her temperament will serve her well in education.
We feel she will be an asset wherever she teaches. She certainly made a difference here.
