Narrative Essay

Assignment: For the assignment, I want you to tell me a story. Pick an event/incident, a decision you
made, an action you took, or a memory that clearly stands out to you. Try to pick something that
affected/impacted you a great deal something that has altered who you are as a person today.
However, if you feel you have not done/decided/experienced anything that altered who you are, feel
free to describe an event that you remember vividly. To complete this assignment, you will need to
have a clear introduction, thesis statement, body, and conclusion. You will also need to incorporate
specific details and examples that support your thesis statement and give your essay vivid descriptions.
Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to get you writing longer, more in-depth/detailed
paragraphs/essays while giving you the opportunity to write creatively/expressively.
Requirements: Minimum of 1 page, no more than 3. Typed, 12-pt. Times New Roman font.
