Two elderly men in a nursing home exchange life stories.
They slowly come to the realization that they
are by no means strangers. Their paths have crossed before. There is this one moment in my life I will never forget, Wilbur said, looking thoughtfully into the distance, I was driving home from work. I was exhausted. I was trying so hard not to fall asleep at the wheel. I knew I had to get home to my family. Then, as I prepared to turn left off the highway to get onto the bridge, I saw what I thought to be a boy. About 17 years old or so. I blinked and looked again. I thought I was hallucinating. It was insane. 'What is a 17 year old boy doing walking across the bridge at this time of day? Shouldn't he be in school?' I thought to myself at that time.
