    programsinourschoolshouldbethenextstepforus.Wehavedoneresearchinsurrounding
    districtsthathavesuccessfullyintegratedthistechnologyandasaresult,theyhaveseen
    increasesinthefollowingcategories:
    Attendance
    GraduationRate
    StateAssessmentScores
    SubjectAreaTests

    Asaforwardthinkingschool,Iknowthatwearejustascapableofproducingsimilaror
    betterresults.Wehavehighlyqualifiedteachersthatalreadyprovideadiverselearning
    environment.Includingthe1toMinitiativewillpropelourstudentslearningcapacityandoffset
    costs.Thisplaniscostefficientduetothedecreasedneedofpapertextbooksthatcannowbe
    accesseddigitally.Additionalissuesaddressedwillbeclasssizesandmobility.Wecan
    continuetoaccommodatelargerclassroomsandstillprovidecollaborationthroughappslike
    GoogleDocs.

    WeattendedaworkshopoverthesummeratMSU,GlobalAcademicEssentials
    TeacherInstitute(GAETI)thatintroducedustotechnologyspecificallydesignedforenhancing
    theclassroomlearningenvironment.WearewillingtoofferProfessionalDevelopmentto
    jumpstartthisinitiative.
