Subject The way I see it, too
This is a note to Chereen Zaki about her 12/11 article “The Way I See It.”
Chereen,
You wrote a very critical article in the Caravan today. I hope that it is wide
ly read and discussed. Too often psychologists excuse sexually aggressive behav
ior with the “sexual frustration” claim-there is no evidence for this. After th
e articles last week, I wanted to make a response but did not get around to it.
Thankfully, you covered the exact points I wanted to make-we have to stop excus
ing these men as if they cannot control themselves. You made a strong argument,
and a vital one, and I wish you the best as a journalist and in life. Thank yo
u for writing such a critical article and writing it well.
