What: The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Community Affairs Department will host a
national community development conference, Rethink. Rebuild. Recover: Reinventing Older
Communities, Wednesday, May 12, to Friday, May 14, 2010.

Description: The conference will focus on reinventing older communities in the wake of the
foreclosure crisis and the federal government’s economic stimulus programs .The conference
sessions will cover such topics as foreclosure prevention, rethinking home ownership, the
financial crisis facing cities and towns, reforming the housing finance system, and the future of
the Community Reinvestment Act.
