Project description:
You use Maya's transformation tools, Move, Rotate, and
Scale, to transform polygonal objects and components.
For example, if you want to animate the lips of a polygonal modeled face
to prepare them for sound syncing, you simply select vertices, transform
them, and set keyframes to animate the vertices.

Keyframe animation creates action from keys you set on attributes at various
times (or frames). A key specifies the value of an attribute at a particular time.
Maya interpolates how the attribute changes its value from one key to the next.
Each key specifies a defining characteristic of the action.

With path animation, you can animate an object along a path specified by a
NURBS curve. For example, you might want to animate the path of a camera
moving through space. To do this with keyframe animation would require you to
laboriously create and edit many keys for the motion of the camera. By having
the camera move along a curve, you can more easily adjust the camera's path
by editing the curve.

Bend deformers enable you to bend an object along an arc.
