A. Book: JAY FOONBERG , HOW TO START AND BUILD A LAW PRACTICE (5th ed. 2004)

B. Other Materials: Other materials will be provided by the instructors via the
Internet.
III. Class Attendance and Preparation: There are no regularly-scheduled classes to “attend.”
The instructors will post video lectures and podcasts on the Internet. You are expected to
view all of the on-line lectures and to listen to all podcasts. You must also read all
assigned materials. We anticipate posting approximately 2-3 on-line lectures or podcasts
each week during the course of summer school.
IV. Grading: Your course grade will be based on a take-home final examination/project, and
on a final examination (that you will take on Blackboard). The final examination will be
based entirely on readings and podcasts relating to the Foonberg book.
