Ted Cirone

I’m happy to say that I’ve been a professed Claretian since 1947 and a priest since 1955.

Presently I am one of the formation directors at Claret House. With Sister Mary Ellen
Moore, since 1996 I have been a Co-Director and Spiritual Director at Claret Center :
Resources for the Human Journey (www.claretcenter.org). I am also now the oldest and
longest-serving member of the Board of Trustees of Catholic Theological Union, as the
Claretian representative, and member of Board’s Academic Committee. Since 2000, I have
been a member and Secretary of Board of Directors of Su Casa Catholic Worker, a
Residence for Hispanic Homeless Families. (www.sucasacw.org).

In my past life I have been a formation director, director of novices, member of the
Claretian General Government in Rome (1967-79 and 1985-91). During that time I was
the Vicar General for 10 years. I was the Provincial Superior of the USA Eastern
Province from 1992-98.
