HE PHILIPOR 2 AND LOC CIRCULAR NO._2007-10_ SUBJECT : AMENDMENT OF DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY IN THE PUBLIC SAFETY SECTOR Pursuant to Section 10 (c) of Republic Act No. 6975, otherwise known as the Department of the Interior and Local Government Act of 1990, the Undersecretary for Public Safety is hereby authorized to act on the following matters under his supervisory jurisdiction: 4. Approval of leaves of absence of all personnel in the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) in excess of sixty (60) days, including commutation of leaves; 2. Approval of foreign travel of all personnel in the Bureau of Firs Protection (BFP), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), 3. Detail or termination of detail of personnel in the Office of the . Undersecretary for Public Safety, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the . Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC); Provided, That the Undersecretary for Public Safety shall prepare a list of personnel placed on detail or whose detail has been terminated, and submit the same to the Office of the Secretary for monitoring purposes; 4, Designation, or approval of assignment, transfer or reassignment, of City Fire Marshals in the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and City Jail Wardens in the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). Notwithstanding this Department Order, the Secretary himself may directly act on any of the above-enumerated matters if and whenever the exigency of the service so requires. Any provision of Circular No. 99-18 dated June 1, 1999, Circular No 2006-01 dated March 6, 2006, Circular No. 2006-12 dated August 10, 2006, Circular No. 2067-04 dated March 2, 2007 or any other issuance inconsistent with this Circular, is hereby amended or modified accordingly.
