1. Install Jdk 1.5 onto your system.

2. click on My Computer and set the path for jdk as follows:

My Computer>> properties>> Advanced>>Environment variables
User Variables:
classpath E:\jdk1.5.0_01\lib;
java_home E:\jdk1.5.0_01;
path E:\jdk1.5.0_01\bin;
System Variables:
classpath E:\jdk1.5.0_01\lib;
path E:\jdk1.5.0_01\bin;
3. Save the changes and restart the system.
4. First select the topology in the box provided in the lower right corner of th
e screen then there will be a dialog appears on the screen prompting the use
r to give number of nodes in the network enter a positive integer then click OK bu
tton then on the left side of the screen the network topology can be viewed w
ith the selected no nodes.
5. The user can view the routing tables for each and every router by just clicki
ng icon of the routers for this the user have to select a algorithm in the panel
provided on the top right corner of the window then clicking the Simulate button.
6. The routing algorithm efficiency can be viewed by clicking the button in the
panel provided in the top right corner of the screen.
7. one can crash the Router by right Clicking on the Router and selecting the Dow
n button in the popup menu the same process for reactivating a router.
8. The user can also view the routing buffer by clicking the Router Buffer option
in the popup menu, before that user have to send some number of packets usi
ng different algorithms using the button Send Packets which is provided in the top
right corner of the screen.
9. The user also can use the short notes provided on different routing algorithm
s for verification by just clicking the Notes button in the Help menu.
