Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson is scheduled to visit Nebraska this coming weekend to aWend various
events organized by the Nebraska Republican Liberty Caucus. The primary focus of the trip is a Saturday evening
recepEon in Lincoln during which parEcipants will have the opportunity to visit directly with Governor Johnson.
The 5:30pm recepEon will be followed at 7:00pm with a program that includes an address by the Governor.

In addiEon to the Saturday evening event, Governor Johnsons Nebraska schedule includes an invitaEon-only
Friday night pizza party with some local high school and college students and several morning and early a[ernoon
stops in Omaha.

In addiEon to the interest provided by the visit of a successful former Governor to Nebraska, Johnsons trip has
addiEonal intrigue. While Johnson is coming to Nebraska to discuss the the objecEves of the Our America
IniEaEve for which he serves as honorary chair, it could also be an early tesEng of the waters for a PresidenEal
run. There are some signs, such as a Gary Johnson for President 2012 Facebook group started by supporters.
Nebraska is not o[en on the map for this purpose, those who aWend Saturdays events have a rst opportunity to
meet a potenEal candidate.

In addiEon to Nebraska Republican Liberty Caucus, the event is being co-hosted by Nebraska Campaign for Liberty
and Grassroots in Nebraska. These groups have worked together this year to advocate successfully for the passage
of the Nebraska Sovereignty ResoluEon sponsored by State Senator Tony Fulton, and to organize events such as
the April 15 Tea Party at the State Capitol.
