‘The woman in her middle 40°s was not totally ignored by the opposite, for there were those who did stil find her attractive, yet the taxi-driver seemed totally oblivious to her ‘or was either just blind when he nearly hit a cyclist, then proceeded to rant atthe poor kid about gaining some road sense. Although she was more interested in the old house, & during a break of bike madness asked him about the old house, yet all he did to comment ‘was say "there's nothing there’. So glancing at the empty house as they passed, did she ‘not mention anything else about it, not until several weeks late, “Hello again Miss, where have you been, you remember that young cyclist, bet he wished he'd listen to me, because he lost control & went undera bus, at least he is still alive’ ‘She got in the back, yet he didn’t have to mention where to go, instead he drove. Along the Way she told him to stop. Why? He wasn’t sure, for there were no houses & flats around. She got out & approached the right side waste -ground, Then pointed “how long that house been there"? "What house miss, there is nothing there’. Thinking he had picked up a nutter, he then said “never mind about your fare miss, have that one on the house’ then he drove off, leaving her stranded. She tumed and approached the house. The door opened, a light appeared plus a light appeared on the top floor. Glancing back at the house door as it opened. The elderly lady, seragey dressed, said “ah, at last you are here, your room is ready for you, come in, come in, don’t be shy” In she went, the door closed behind her with an echoed thud. She was shown to her room, walked up the long stairease past huge pictures of noble men & women of many ages. ‘The door opened before they got there. This is your room, I will be back shortly with refreshments, do not please leave your 100m, its for your own safety’. Fora flash glimmer of second the house appeared, never less as always nobody saw it. Only those who see it were allowed to pass & enter. She was indeed fortunate enough to 8 it, yet unfortunate o want to enter, although there was no choice, for she was ‘guided by a stronger will force than her own. Her own personal thoughts & dreams caught up with her, & bypassed her; to cloud her memory of what she was told wamed not to do. And that was not to leave the room. ‘As she opened the door, a hundred thousand screams echoed up & down the corridors. Lights blinkered on & off, laughter filed the air, now replaced the horrendous screams of torture. She saw a figure of black emerge running from the darkness, For her own protection she stood back against the wall, clutching a table-lamp as a weapon, ‘A man went screaming past, his head covered in blood, yet she recognised him asthe taxi-driver. He was closely followed at running speed by a murderous looking woman, ragged, scragey dressed, totally mad, holding a bloodstained axe. “Come here, mr taxi- +,” Il show you not to overcharge your fares, plus not stop by the house, he is an Lnbeliever’ She heard her long scream as she ran past her. Still clutching the lamp, she ‘watched the mad axe woman, who then began to rant out loudly. "Your next dear, your next, don’t run, your make me angry, but please do keep the lamp, Ido like a woman -with spirit, who loves to fight for her life, watch this chicken shit taxi-man run’ Echoes of more screams followed. ‘The distinetive seream of male, which ended, leaving behind totally silence, from the darkness where the axe woman & taxi man went. Standing now alone, quickly she dropped the lamp, ran back to her room, & locked it. A voice said "its too bloody late now dear, you was told to stay in your room, now you have been chosen, your next Screams & fear laughter filled the air. The door began to shake uncontrollably. The handle moved back & forth. She grabbed it, yetthe force was so great, she let go. You might as wel give up & die honourably, you was meant to see this house, and at least your spirit wll be free, unlike the taxi-driver’. Everything went quiet for about half an hour. Thinking that whoever it was had gone ‘away, she opened the door, her only thought in mind escape, was now obstructed by the blood covered now crazy face ofthe taxi driver. In an evil voice he said ‘I have come for payment for your fare’. In his hand he clutched tightly the axe. “The mad woman is dead” She looked atthe bloodstained axe & sereamed. She started screaming, & and woke upto find hersef in the back of the taxi "Are you al right miss, you’ ve been having a bad dream, we are here now, that's £4 to ‘you’. Opening her purse she gave him the money, & opened the door & approached her mothers house. {As she went to open the door of the house, she could sense someone behind her, tuming ‘round, she screamed. “It was a bad dream, it can't be real. “Itis, itis, am not really wanting you, but your mother, but you" Il do first. The house needs new blood”, He ran towards her, clutching the already dried blood axe, & took a chunk out of its new vietim, her wooden chair, which didn’t lst, finally into her room it would seek havoc. ‘She & her mother emerged alive, mad, & covered in taxi-
