Dear Sirs,
1. The cross hatching referred to has been almost completely obliterated and was not
obviously visible when I parked my vehicle at 8.00am. I attach two photographs of
this particular parking spot and you can see that these are indeed very faint.
2. The parking space I used was defined , as are all the other parking spaces in the car
park by a white line on either side and when I had parked my vehicle, I checked that
there was a white line on both sides of the space. There were no visible signs of
barring. If this is not a proper parking space, why have you got a solid white line on
either side? Is this to lure unwary visitors into the spot and thereby generate
additional revenue?
This is an absolutely unfair and if you do not intend this space to be used, why do you not
make it clear and paint the cross hatching lines properly? I was not impeding access to the
ticket machine or impeding pedestrian access to and from the car park, as can clearly be
seen from the attached photographs. I also attach a copy of the parking fine issues by
yourselves.
Your sincerely,
