MALCOLM

X
Malcolm X was born May 19, 1925 in Omaha. His father Earl was his pastor and his mother Louise
was a white because his mother was raped by a white man, she lived very well with his white skin .
The young Malcolm is then sent to friends of the family, eventually landing in 13 years in a jail
where they sent the "bad boys" in Michigan, this center was a step towards the house recovery.
Malcolm then living in a white lady who will support his education. It follows the school to white,
very good student, and became the "mascot" of the class.
Malcolm decides to leave this school and this community that whites do not want to attend. He
moved to Boston with his half-sister Ella, who lived in a house in a good part of town. But Malcolm
did that make blacks who frequent these areas and who think themselves superior to other blacks,
poorer.

In 1956, Malcolm met the sister Betty X, who taught on Thursday evening to Muslim women in
hygiene and health. Not attending the first that as a sister of Islam, Malcolm sees growing interest in
him for Betty seems to suit him perfectly. Malcolm asks her to marry by telephone, and the positive
response of the latter filled with joy the hearts of men and women of the Nation of Islam, they were
married in Indiana, and lived in Queens .
The growing nation of Islam, began to worry the white American high society, the actions of black
Muslims under the leadership of Malcolm X, they are talking about, discipline and excellent
organization of Muslims increase their popularity among blacks, that awareness then renamed Afro-
American. In 1959, Malcolm X founded the newspaper of the Nation of Islam: "Muhammad speaks.
That same year he founded a new Temple in Los Angeles and travels in Africa, where some
countries had informed the nation of Islam that they appreciated the efforts by Muslims to the
community of African American descendant of 'slaves. The Black Muslims are then shown by the
media and American society as extremists who teach hatred.
