Personal Hygiene & Grooming

Shower

• Bath Everyday
without fail before
coming to the shift.

• Shampoo hair to
avoid dandruff, also
use a conditioner.
Hair Style
• Hair must be trimmed
and clean at all times.
• Hair should not touch
the face.
• Hair shouldn’t be
greasy and oily.
• Excessive use of gel
must be avoided.
• Ladies must put up
your hair neatly with a
net.
Face
• Males should have a
shave everyday.
• Moustache if kept should
be trimmed properly.
• Use a very mild after
shave
• Side burns for men
shouldn’t be longer than
the ear lobe.
• Ladies can apply a light
make-up.
Hand & Feet

• Always wash your


hands with SOAP
before coming to duty,
and even after
smoking, using toilet,
handling garbage etc
• Keep your nails short
and clean.
• Feet must be washed
regularly and toenails
to be kept trimmed
Uniform & Shoes
• Uniforms should
ALWAYS be Clean,
Laundered and Ironed
• Change it whenever it is
visibly soiled.
• Change socks and under
garments everyday.
• Wear comfortable, clean
and formal shoes.
• Air the shoe and use
talcum powder.
Most Important!!!!

Sufficient sleep, adequate diet, and healthy


food and regular exercise keeps you healthy.
Do not bite nails in the public area.
Do not run your hands through your hair.
Do not rub your face, touch your nose, ears
in the Public area.
Do not chew gum in the Public area.
Always cover your mouth using hand
kerchief while coughing and sneezing.
Always use a mouth wash if you smoke, or
eat onion and garlic.
General Etiquettes & Manners

• Smile, It costs nothing at all.


• Always maintain eye contact and a helpful expression on
your face.
• Stand erect, weight balanced on both the feet.
• Do not lean against a counter.
• Do not run in the public area.
• Speak softly.
• Anticipate guest needs.
• WISH EVERYBODY YOU COME ACROSS ACCORDING
TO THE TIME OF THE DAY.
