Performance Dashboard
Use this list as a guide to select possible indicators that would be useful in
monitoring the progress and performance of your organization (performance
dashboard). Some suggestions are:
1. Limit the number of indicators by starting with a few and adding more
over time.
2. Consider the ease of data accessibility when selecting indicators.
3. Involve others in selecting performance indicators.

Annual dropout rate
Percentage of students graduating on time
Students exceeding the graduation requirements
Students with 95% of higher passing rates on examinations
Number of students taking college entrance examinations
Student attendance rates
Average score on college entrance examinations (SAT, ACT)
Percentage of students participating in extracurricular activities
Number of community service hours worked by students
Percentage of students attending tutorials
Course passing rates
Percentage of students earning state recognition in fine arts activities
Student representation by ethnicity in special education and advanced
programs
Percentage of girls enrolled in advanced science and math courses

Performance Indicators About Staff


Percentage of completed career counseling appointments with students
Teacher turnover rates
Percentage of students/staff who demonstrate proficiency in technology
Number of professional development hours/training completed
Staff attendance rates
Satisfaction levels with school
