ARAHAN KEPADA PELAJAR
1) This assignment consists of TWO (2) parts, Part A and Part B. Part A consists of FIVE (5) questions. Answer ALL
questions. Part B consists of TWO (2) questions. Please choose ONE (1) question in PART B. You can answer in
English or in Malay only.
Tugasan ini mengandungi DUA (2) bahagian, Bahagian A dan Bahagian B. Bahagian A mengandungi LIMA (5)
soalan. Jawab SEMUA soalan. Bahagian B mengandungi DUA (2) soalan. Jawab SATU soalan sahaja dalam
Bahagian B. Anda boleh menjawab sama ada menggunakan Bahasa Inggeris atau Bahasa Melayu sahaja.

2) Your assignment should be typed on A4 paper using 12 font sizes and 1.5 line spacing.
Tugasan anda perlu ditaip atas kertas A4 dengan menggunakan saiz font 12 dan langkau baris 1.5.

3) You are to submitt your assignment on-line through the myLMS. Please refer to the instructions in the portal for more
information on how to submitt your assignment on-line.
Anda perlu menghantar tugasan secara on-line melalui myLMS. Sila rujuk kepada arahan di dalam portal untuk
mendapatkan maklumat lanjut berkenaan penghantaran tugasan secara on-line.

4) Your assignment must be submitted between 1 - 21 August 2010 . Submissions after 21 August 2010 are not
acceptable. Detailed instruction on submission procedure will be further announced.

5) Your assignment will be examined based on the followings


• a complete working solution.
• ability of using methods available in the module (please state the appropriate unit/ page).
• ability of using other methods beyond the module (please give the reference)
Tugasan anda akan diperiksa berdasarkan perkara berikut:
• perincian jalan kerja jawapan.
• kemampuan menggunakan kaedah dalam modul (sila nyatakan unit/ muka surat yang terlibat).
• kemampuan menggunakan kaedah selain daripada kaedah dalam modul (sila nyatakan rujukan yang diguna.

6) This assignment carries a 30% weightage toward final grade.


Tugasan ini menyumbang sebanyak 30% kepada gred akhir kursus.

7) Plagiarism in all forms will not be tolerated. Assignment submitted will automatically be subjected to a similarity check.
• Assignments with 10 – 30% overlap with others will be subjected to a 20% deduction from the total gross
marks scored.
• Assignments with more than 30% overlap with others will earn zero mark on the assignment. In such cases, the
course grade will be determined soley on the basis of marks obtained in te remaining components of the course
assessment.

Relate any four general principles of evaluation by giving ONE example of any subject
that you want to evaluate.

Based on a set of test marks (minimum of 30 students) from any technical and
vocational subject. Prepare:
(a) Frequency distributions table [2]
(b) Cumulative frequency distributions table [2]
(c) Draw the ogive and find the value of [4]
(i) First quartile, Q1 [1]
(ii) Third quartile, Q3 [1]
