Drug abuse resistance education will follow me for the rest of my life. I learnt how
much one dumb mistake could make a big difference. It taught me how to make the right
choices in the future. It also taught me how to respond and evaluate a problem. I was
made aware that people are not what they appear to be.
It is important to be drug free because once you take a drug you’ll be hooked and it
will take a lot of time to get off the drugs. It also taught me about internet safety and how
you have to be careful while on internet; like in chat rooms because, there are predators
lurking around. I also learned what can happen when on tobacco, alcohol, and marijuana.
It hurts your brain, mouth, throat, lungs, heart and liver. In addition, you have to choose
your friends very carefully; somebody that will not tempt you, hurt you, or pressures you
to do anything you do not want to do.
