Building Tour Series:

Theatre Underground

1.0 Learning Unit

The focus of the tour is a look at the original theater and the Jones Building and their transformation
over 90 years from vaudeville house to a modern performing arts venue. Major changes have
occurred over the years in use and how the buildings have been adapted, including the construction
of the "Annex" and the Theatre on the Square.
Your will see the behind the screens areas of the building's basement and sub-basement, the lofts
and support spaces as well as other changes.

The tour is a cooperative effort with the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts and their
membership.
