June 3, 2010 Ms. Susan Muscari-Komoto Founder & Director Drop Dead Gorgeous, Inc. P.O, Box 190862 Atlanta, GA 30319-0862 Dear Susan, It is a pleasure for me to congratulate you and your organization “Drop Dead Gorgeous” for its efforts advocating on behalf of the 495 children of who have been trafficked and sexually exploited in Atlanta per month’. I support the work that DDG is accomplishing with the Governor's task force by raising funding for the Safety Gap fund. As I understand this fund helps the victims once rescued to go through the restorative process and provides shelter and much needed medical care. I am glad to see that you have taken notice of the vital role the fashion industry has had contributing to this issue. It was smart to see the use of the same vehicle to help positively influence change regarding the matter of children sexually exploitation. I do understand the difficulties and joys of championing for the defenseless, as I am a big believer in giving and have a few charities of my own. Iam very proud and happy to be echoing your efforts; as I understand, Ricky Martin through his foundation has also endorsed the efforts you are accomplishing in Atlanta. I look forward to hearing and seeing many more great things coming from DDG and leave the door open should in the future we could find a common ground to help you in your efforts. I admire the Drop Dead Gorgeous organization for elevating the involvement of an industry very dear to me. I wish you all the best. I support the efforts of DDG and likeminded organizations that help advocate for the rights of children who have been trafficked for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Organizations like DDG provide the opportunity of hope for these children who otherwise many not have any. Cordially, ( - +) /
