Connecting Systems on a Wireless Network

Right click on Network devices on the Icon Notification area

Select [Open Network Connection Center]

Click on – [Change Adapter Settings]

Right Click on the [MTN 3G]

Select [Properties]
1. From the General Tab Select the Sharing Tab
2. In the Sharing Tab tick the Allow Other Network Users…..Connection and Select - [Wireless
Network Connection] Then OK.
Now go back to [Open Network Connection Center]

Select the [Set Up a new network connection or network].

Scroll down the page

Select [Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network] and Click on Next, Next again.

Name the Wireless connection anything making sure it does not exceed 32 characters

Select WEP encryption and give the connection a password, 5 or 13 characters long, click on Next.
Click on Close.
What I have written here for windows 7 use the MTN Modem on Jay’s Laptop.

NOTE: Before sharing the Modem disconnect from the Internet.

Make Sure all system connecting to the wireless connection don’t have IP Addresses.
