• On the way he fell to the hands of
robbers.
• They stripped him of his clothes, beat
him and went away, leaving him half
dead.
• A priest came along that same
road and, not wishing to taint his
hands with blood, passed by the
other road.
• Then, a Levite happened to travel
along the path and, like the
priest, passed by the other road.
• A Samaritan came along and,
taking pity on the injured man,
took him to an inn and told the
innkeeper to take care of him and
that he will pay for the man’s
expenses.
