The Red Cloud Renewable Energy Center
Changing the Tribal Energy Approach
The Red Cloud Renewable Energy Center (RCREC) was developed by
Lakota Solar Enterprises (LSE) and Trees, Water & People (TWP) as a
residential training facility for tribes to learn renewable energy applications
from fellow Native Americans.

LSE is currently offering a unique 10-day workshop where visiting tribal

representatives learn the step-by-step process for assembling solar air
heating systems at RCREC and then get hands-on practice installing the
systems in the field.

For more information please contact Liz Sunderland, TWP’s Tribal Lands
Coordinator, at liz@treeswaterpeople.org or by phone at (970) 484-3678.
