Dear Parent/Guardian:

This letter is to inform you of a recent middle school issue that is now part of a police
investigation. The administration learned about the possibility of unprofessional behavior by a
middle school support staff employee. We immediately conducted an investigation, contacted
the Manheim Township Police Department, and immediately removed the employee from the
school. The employee no longer works for the school district.

Although we are unable to discuss any further details regarding the investigation or the
employee, I would like you to know that to the best of our knowledge, no students were in any
physical danger. The school district will continue to cooperate with the police department.
Please know that we take student safety seriously in our school community and it is our
continued goal to provide a safe environment for our students, with open lines of
communication with our parents.
