Subject:- SOUTHERN PUNJAB DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

During the sequence of meeting held under the

chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab for preparation of ADP 2009-10, it
was decided that Southern Punjab Development Programme may
include schemes from social development and infrastructure related
departments (minutes at Flag “X”).

The issue was discussed with Secretary, P&D and it was

decided that Chief Minister Punjab may be requested for constitution a
Committee under the chairmanship of Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa,
Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab for identification of the schemes
under the Southern Punjab Development Programme. A summary has
accordingly been prepared and placed below.
