This is the full documentation for the second Supplemental Agreement signed by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the lead consultant firm Stantec, Inc, for the extension of the contract for the I-49 Connector freeway project in Lafayette, Louisiana. The extension (until October 2019 from its original expiration date of June 2017), is to expand the scope of work to initialize, prepare, and complete a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) to reflect changes in the design and environment for the project. The original concept for the Conceptual Design and Context Sensitive Solutions phases of the project remain in effect per the original contract; they will be executed following the completion of the SEIS with a Supplemental Record of Decision (Supplemental ROD) and the selection of a Supplemental Selected Alternative.
