“Most men lead lives of quiet desperation”

Not I!
No, I will not choose the road oft travelled by
No, I will not willingly die under society’s restraints
I will not let my soul slip quietly into a coma
I will not die…
But I will live ever
And so, I implore;
No, I order and shout to thee,
DON’T BE ORDINARY!
BE FREE!
Like a lion running in a field;
Darting after his prey;
I dart to my dreams
But I do not dash to conformity…
Do not be rigid and confined
Be rebellious
And stand for what you believe in…
Seize every moment,
Live every chance you get
And feel alive
Or else, you will lead a life
Of quiet desperation
And so “live ever or else swoon to death”
