I never thought that doing community hours could help me

learn to be more organized. For this you don't get paid or anything,
you just have to put effort and help out others. Last year I was
helping Mrs. Hernandez to collect all the mathematics books from
the teachers. I had to go through all the portables and get them and
return them to the Math Department.
When we had all the books picked up, I had to put them in
boxes so they can move them to the new school. I had to check
through all the books to make sure they were all in a good
conditions.
Furthermore, during the summer I kept helping Mrs.
Hernandez, I used to come to the school to organize all those books.
I remember they had assigned a classroom where those boxes were
all over each other because there wasn't enough space. I had to look
over those boxes to look for the ones that had Mrs. Hernandez's
name on it and carry them to her class to put them in the book
shelf by levels.
In conclusion, it was a good experience work with Mrs.
Hernandez during the summer helping her. I would love to do that
again since now we are more organized and we don't have so many
problems with the books. She's a very good teacher that likes to do
things right and loves her job as Math Department Head. Doing
community hours with her taught me to work hard and make my
time useful.
