Commercial Debt Recovery

When we are engaged by a client, it is often with the view to collect the odd one or two problem
invoices. Usually, numerous calls have been made to the debtor, promises of payment have been
made and broken and the relationship starts to become a little fraught due to the continual broken
promises.

We are able to give the collection process fresh impetus and it will focus the debtors’ attentions that
the outstanding issue is not going to go away. When the client sees the swift progress made, and of
course the result of receiving the much needed funds, there is a change in philosophy and we are
brought on board as an extension of their commercial debt collection services on a wider and more
frequent basis.

What we bring to our clients is a flexible approach to collecting their debts, there is an individual
assessment of every debt in the way it is approached, along with continual and regular updates on
its progress.

They appreciate the methods used to engage their customers. We do not use the outdated tactics
of aggressive threatening behaviour. This only serves to create further distance between the client
and their debtor, potentially preventing further business.

The client are allocated a dedicated collection manager who will learn and become fully involved
with the clients debt collection requirements, and can even become the customer when engaging in
the debt collection process.

The beauty of our service is that the client feels they are always able to freely discuss their cases and
change tact at any time, which transfers to our collection procedures seamlessly. The debtor will be
none the wiser, if that is the wish of the client.

The result of our ‘bespoke’ service is that the client is able to release a valuable member of staff
from the arduous and time consuming task of commercial debt collection, remove the ‘headache’ of
worrying about cash flow, as it is in the hands of a dedicated debt collection service and focus their
efforts in a positive and productive direction of the important things, namely building their brand
and bringing further clients and work on board.
