by LARRY and RAM to the newly
promoted leader JANE. These advises are
very crucial to processed her leadership
role in new job.
ADVISES
• Start by considering what skills you have
in how they compare with the skills job
required.
• If you have short on experience in one
area make sure you have got some one
who is strong in it.
HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW
YOUR ORGNIZATION
• Talk with people with all levels and ask them
questions and listen to the answers.
• Get a good handle early about the beliefs and
behaviors of the people under your direction.
• Start creating the social software you will need
to change the culture.
• Nothing is more important to achieve results
then your personal leadership of the 3 core
process.
• You need to certain that appraisal are
honest and direct.
• Insure that your compensation system
rewards the doers.
• Getting strategy process right is crucial.
• You can’t settle for vague declarations in
crucial underpinning of the plan…you
need specific program.
• You have budget but do you have an
action plan the budget should represent?
• You must be in charge from start, make
sure things that suppose to happen do in
fact happen.
• Make sure you understand your customer.
• Always look ways to improve your results.
• Maintain and sharpen your intellectual
honesty.
• Keep ask yourself whether you are
growing, learning & making tough choices.
• Some people grow in their jobs and other
swell.
• You have talent to get your things done.
