Sender System Confuration

1. Create an RFC Destination from the Sender System to the Integration Server
using the transaction SM59.
2. Create Port using the transaction WE21.Give the RFC Destination created above
for the port.
3. Create Partner profile using the transaction WE20. Select the type Logical
system.(The logical system has to be created using transaction BD54 or SALE->
Logical Systems )
4. Choose the partner’s logical system.
5. Add an outbound parameter.Give the message type you want to send. Give the
name of the receiver port as the port created above.0Choose the basic type.
6. Create an ALE Distribution model using the transaction BD64.
7. Give the name of the Sender system and Receiver system.
8. Add a message type.Specify th message type you want to send.

Receiver System Confuration

1. Create Partner profile using the transaction WE20. Select the type Logical
system.
2. Choose the partner’s logical system.
3. Add an inbound parameter.Give the message type you want to send.

Integration Server Configuration

1. Create Ports corresponding to the sender and receiver systems using the
transaction IDX1.
2. Enter the Port name as SAP<Hostname>.
3. Give the client number and the RFC Destination.
4. This port is used for loading the metadata from the sender and receiver systems
at runtme.

Tranfer of IDocs

1. Send the IDoc from the sender system using the appropriate transaction.(Test
tool for sending is we19)
2. Specify the message type.
3. Specify receiver system as the target system.

Monitoring of IDocs.

1. For monitoring the IDocs in the sender and receiver systems use the transaction
WE05 or BD87.
2. In the Integration Server messages in the IDoc Adapter can be monitored using
the transaction IDX5.
3. You can also monitor the messages sent to the Integration Server using the
Runtime WorkBench.
 Open the Integration Builder ( Exchange Infrastructure -> Start
Integration Builder or transaction : SXMB_IFR ).
 Click on the link Runtime WorkBench.Enter the username and password.
 Select Message Monitoring. Give the time and date of message
transfer.Click Start.
