5th Grade Weekly Newsletter September 7-10, 2010

This week starts…!

• Hot lunch– order online before 9AM.
• Milk Program– if that applies to you
• Flag football and volleyball practice.
• Study Hall for anyone after school until 4PM in the 6th grade classroom.
• Piano and instrumental lessons.
• Spelling– taught by Mrs. Stubalt. Tests are on the last day of the school week.

Tests Coming Up this Week! Major Assignments

⇒ Spelling on Friday • Memory Work– Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

⇒ 9/14, Tuesday, Math Test (lessons1-10) (This Tuesday is ok to not be prepared. It wasn’t talked
about, etc.) Check your yearly MW Calendar for the spe-
cific assignment.

Grades 3-5 to sing at 8:45 on Sunday! Please meet in 5th grade at 8:30!!

First Week Notes

⇒ The first week of school was awesome!
⇒ What I appreciated most was the respect to authority and to each
other. That makes all the difference.
⇒ Please do not feel like the classroom is your forbidden territory. You
CAN come in and say hi!
⇒ It’s going to be a great year! I am excited about it and I hope you are
