DUTCHESS COUNTY ELECTED OFFICIALS ENDORSE

MALPASS FOR U.S. SENATE

Molinaro, Tkazyik, Rolison, Flesland Agree: Malpass is

Best Qualified to Serve New York

New York- September 10, 2010... David Malpass (R), a nationally-recognized fiscal
conservative and candidate for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by unelected senator Kirsten
Gillibrand (D-NY), today announced the endorsements of New York State Assemblyman Marc
Molinaro, Poughkeepsie Mayor John Tkazyik, Dutchess County Legislature Chairman Rob
Rolison and Legislature Majority Whip Angela Flesland. The endorsements were made at news
conference today in front of the Dutchess County Office building in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Malpass,
who was chosen by the New York Post as the "unquestionably superior candidate," has been
endorsed by many elected officials and leaders, including Rudy Giuliani, Steve Forbes, and
former Congresswoman Sue Kelly.

Mr. Malpass, 54, is an established expert on the federal budget and tax policy. While serving
Presidents Reagan and George H.W. Bush, he worked on an array of pro-growth issues,
including the 1986 tax cut, the Roth IRA and fast-track trade authority. He has a distinguished
career in economic research and writes regularly for Forbes magazine and the Wall Street
Journal.

"David's understanding of the economy and federal budget is unmatched by any other
candidate in the race," said Assemblyman Molinaro. "His skill set and principled approach
to limited government is exactly what we need in Washington right now. I, along with Mayor
Tkzayik and Legislators Rolison and Flesland, are proud to endorse David Malpass as our next
senator."

Mr. Malpass said, "It's critical to have leaders in Washington who understand the implications
of Congress's actions on local governments. New York taxpayers simply cannot afford another
year of Senator Gillibrand and her tax-and-spend colleagues. I'm enormously grateful for the
support of Assemblyman Molinaro, Mayor Tkazyik and Legislators Rolison and Flesland as I
seek to bring fiscal sanity back to Washington."
