Monthly Activity Report for Aug’10
1) Academics
1) Classes of S.E., T.E., and B.E. are continuing regularly.
2) Letters to the students having attendance less than 75% were prepared and
submitted to the office for further perusal.
3) Some of the B.E. students requested for third elective and as per permission by
Principal, Advance Environmental Management, Elective was placed.
4) Prof.Mrs.M.V. Waghmare is appointed has taken charge as Academic
Coordinator from Prof.Mr.R.T.Jyoti.
5) Results of S.E. and T.E. were declared.

2) State of Equipments & Library books

1) Hon. Founder Secretary has approved amount of Rs.14, 22,691/- for purchasing
equipments required in seven laboratories.

3) Students Activities
1) “Friendship Day” was celebrated by civil Engineering Student Association, on
2nd August 2010 at 3.00 pm. In the presence of Dr.S.T.Patil, Principal,ICOER

4) Staff Development
(a) Prof.S.Chandna, Rtd. Army officer, and A.P. accepted to conduct one day
faculty development program.

5) Any major activity planned

a) Guest lectures are arranged for following subjects in the month September
1) Environmental Engineering by Prof.R.V.Saraf
2) Fluid Mechanics by Prof.A.R.Deshmukh
b) One Day workshop for B.E. students on “Pre stressed Concrete Design”. By
Prof.M.R.Wackchaure on 8th Sept.2010
c) On the occasion of Engineer’s Day on 15th Sept.2010, one day Workshop for
students on “ Carrier Development of Civil Engineering” by Dr. R.B.Chaphalkar
