DISCUSSION

Based on the outcome result of the experiment, we observed that our results were unlike by the theory
by (percentage). Few reasons may lead to this event, parallax error while taking degree of swing, length
of thread and distance from floor. There were also uncertainties in time taken for each oscillations, the
oscillation may not be perfect when the time was taken. Besides, errors may happen when the time
taker was switched duing experiment as different people has different rate of reflex or reaction.

Errors could be reduced by taking larger number of swings which can improve the timing measurement.
Besides, better measurement instrument such as measure tape instead metre ruler in measuring the
thread lengtht. The usage of photogate timer can improve the experiment too.

Based on the result, the mass of the pendulum did not effect the period of each oscillation.
