TAYDEN S/DES #7 INT, DINER - BARSTOW JAYDEN My father asked me the oddest cuestion last night. Jayden begins to rip away at the corners of the pape: place mat. Arielle’s eye finches. She smooths it with her hands and looks at him point-blank. ARIELLE Is that really true though? gaYDEN Is what true? ARIELLE Are you happy sometimes? JAYDEN T think I’m happy right now. Jayden gives her an exaggerated second-grade smile. Arielle rolls her eyes and shoots him a serious look. ARIELLE Jayden, I've always thought your eyes were more honest than your word Jayden sighs.
