When did it start?
How was it spread? It started when Gautama saw how people suffered, it went to search for a way to end suffering. He sat under a tree for many days and finally, he realized that suffering was caused by craving, hatred and ignorance. He then freed himself of it and was released from the endless cycle of birth, death and suffering. People achieved enlightenment. Life is full of suffering Humans suffer because they desire pleasure, wealth and fame.
