Arizona Law on Immigration

This new Law has brought one of the toughest moments for the Latin-
American community that lives in the United States. Its aim is to identify,
prosecute and deport illegal immigrants.

In my opinion, I totally disagree with this law; one of the facts that I don’t
agree with is that it gives the police power to detain anyone suspected of being
in the country illegally. For me, that’s kind of discrimination for all Latin-
American citizens that have worked for so many years giving something
important and honest to this country, and working so hard just to get a new life
full of progress, not only for them, but basically for their kids and for the new
American generation.

For me it is ok to regularize the illegal traffic in the USA borders, but I think
there are so many ways to do that without discrimination to one particular
culture (Latin Americans) that has given so much positive things to the United
States of America; actually, they’re part of the US economy.
