How many gangs are there is London?

The largest number of gangs are said to be in Hackney, east London (22 gangs) Enfield in
north London (13 gangs) Lambeth and Merton in south London (12 gangs each) Waltham
Forest in north east London (11 gangs) and Brent in North West London (11gangs). Some of
this gang will have 20 to 30 members.

What proactive measures are the government taking on knife crime?

The government has launched a campaign called youth violet’s this ads devised by
teenagers aim to show the dangers of carrying a knife. The government is investing 3 million
in the campaign over the next three years. The campaign will have a national radio, website
and mobile phone adverts. It follows discussions between the Home Office and 70 young
people aged 16 to 18 which took place in February and March this year.

How many people get stabbed a year?

Over 52 people have been stabbed this year, one of the people who got stabbed to death by
his own daughter. Also recently 5 men got stabbed near the O2 arena they were in there

24 people were killed by knife stabbing by people who weren’t in gangs for example A man
got stabbed out a pub and he died straight away.

28 people got stabbed by gang member this year for example in barking a couple of months
back that Sikh guy was running around to teenagers because they stole a women bag. The
Sikh guy ran after them he got stabbed and he died.

How do celebrity’s influence young people to take drugs?

Celebrity influence young people to take drugs because they do it in public and get seen
doing it for example George Michaels and Paris Hilton. They were doing drugs and got send
to jail for it. This would influence young teens to take drugs because there celebrities who
they want to be like are doing it so they would do it to be more like the celebrity.

Why do celebrities take drugs?

Some celebrities take drugs because they are stressed, they have nothing better to do with
their money, and they want to get buzzed up. They can also take drugs to keep fit for
example Dwain Chambers took drugs to make him win race he got banned from alethic for

The way the media presents the drug use of celebrity’s is bad because they make it sound
like that the celebrity killed somebody. The media shouldn’t really get involved but they
make the celebrity look even worse by saying some things that isn’t true.

Celebrities take drugs to lose weight?

Some celebrities take drugs to lose weight for example ex world heavy weight champion
Ricky Hatton took drugs to lose weight now he has lost his boxing license. That mean he can
never box’s again. At the end Ricky Hatton is setting a bad example to younger boxer and
kids.

Have celebrity’s got too much money?

Celebrity have loads of money they don’t know what to do with it. But if they had some
brain loads of people are poor around the world the celebrity’s should give money to charity
instead of spending on drugs. If more celebrity’s gave money to charity’s that would set a
good example for younger kids.
