I understand that communications relating to income may be in the form of magnetic tape. If that is the case, a table providing a summary of these communications will be acceptable. FYI - Further to the DMO/MO meeting, there was a question re the release package in response to the above noted request.

MO/DMO explained that they had already signed the purple folder (July 3/09) but were wondering why the records contained In the purple folder were responsive to the request.

Specifically, they would like to know

FYI - Further to our weekly meeting Last Wednesday, and my meeting with Mr. Mongeau, you will find below responses to inquiries on the above noted consultation from Library. and Archives Canada (LAC).

• Did LAC consider applying section 26 to the records (to be published within the next 90 days): No, they did not

consider applying that section and they are not in a position to do so at this time. .

• Did LAC consult with canadien Heritage (CH): Yes, they did and CH did not have any recommendations but requested a copy of the report, once it is released.

• Did LAC consult with the Department of Justice (DOl): Yes, they did and DOJ did not invoke section 23 (Solldtor Client Privilege) to the portion of the records pertaining to a legal opinion.
