MAGTECH MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE
In the recent past, the Indian economy has witnessed an unprecedented
boom. Rarely have all assets be it currency, gold, equities or properties rise
in value so dramatically and all together. It is now a period of
consolidation. A period which will see the professionals and the leaders
survive and the me-too's and quickies begin to get weeded out.
M
The job opportunities in the current scenario are immense and every
e eligible person is being wooed by the corporates and the industry today.
The question though which is very important is that are we preparing the
next generation with a long term perspective or a short term one? When
s things begin to stabilize and the growth momentum also becomes more
stable will our students be among the surviving professionals or among the
fallouts? These questions are what provoked us and encouraged us to
s Prof. (Col.) P. S. Bajaj develop a robust academic package which holistically prepares students
for the long haul.
a At Magtech Management Institute we believe in looking over a longer horizon where students are prepared
for every eventuality and every crest and trough in the cycle of life. While the opportunities presented in
g better times have to be exploited to their best potential, we should always be prepared to meet the challenges
of the adverse times which are also bound to keep presenting themselves.
e It is a matter of debate whether management is an art or science? We would like to put our own viewpoint by
saying that whereas management basically deals with real life situations which have various parameters
many of which are not in control, the foundation of every strategy and decision lies in theory.
We welcome every eligible student to realize their true potential by exploiting to the maximum every pillar of
our institute be it faculty, infrastructure, industry linkages, etc. Come, be a part of us and help us constantly
live and realize our motto “EDUCATION TO EMPLOYMENTT”

The flip side to earning a specialized MBA is that it make be difficult to change career fields if you change your mind down

Where you decide to pursue a general MBA or a specific specialization earning an MBA in any field is an excellent option -
especially for students hoping to land excellent jobs once they graduate. Research indicates that individuals with an MBA
tend to move up the promotion ladder much quicker than those without the degree. Not only that, but most

employees possessing an MBA on average earn more than their lesser-educated
contemporaries. These statistics should come as no surprise given the fact that MBA
graduates are in high demand at multi-million dollar companies throughout the world.
M MBA graduates aren't the only people who benefit from and MBA. Students earning their

Finally, earning MBA is an ideal networking opportunity for those interesting in obtaining a career with large corporations
in many different industries. Most reputable MBA programs have relationships with local business, business leaders and
B community leaders who have connections high up. Almost as valuable as the degree itself are the connections that are
made while earning an MBA.
A We believe earning an MBA is a good idea for anyone interested in a successful business career. In fact, we are loath to
think of any reason not to pursue an MBA - the benefits are just too good to pass up. If you have any questions about MBA

Madurai Kamaraj University, (originally known as
Madurai University) was named after the historical city of
Madurai, the ancient capital of the Pandyan rulers and
A the seat of three famous Tamil academies dating back to
the beginning of the Christian and even perhaps an
earlier Era, was inaugurated on 6th February 1966 in the
b heart of the city. Its nucleus was the extension centre of
the University of Madras located at Madurai.
o Two years later, the foundation stone for a new campus at
Madurai was laid by Dr.Zakir Hussain, the then President
u of India. Since then the campus has grown into a
beautiful University township with an extensive area of
about 750 acres, appropriately called in Tamil
t "Palkalainagar" and in 1978, the name of the University
was changed to Madurai Kamaraj University to honor
one of the most illustrious son of our country 'K.
M Kamaraj'. The two components of the name may signify
the pride in the hoary tradition of the Tamils and the
K present concern to live up to their ideals.
