Different characteristics of social perspectives

1. Seeing general to particular

- Perspective of each individual to other individual

2. Seeing strange in the familiar

- Individualistic

3. Human behavior is not as individualistic as we think but rather social


forces affect human behavior.

4. Sociological perspective has a global perspective, the study of the


larger world and our society’s place in it.

a. High income countries

- Industrialized nations in which most people enjoy material abundance.

b. Middle income countries

- Nations characterized by limited industrialization on a moderate small


income.

c. Low income countries

- Nation with industrialization and with severe poverty is the rule.
