    The complete blood count and coagulation studies show mostly normal results except for a slightly elevated white blood cell count and CRP level. The red blood cell morphology examination found no abnormalities. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate was mildly elevated for a male under 50 years old. All other tests, including platelet count, prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time, blood typing, and clotting and bleeding times were normal.
